How to have a Marvel-ous summer

Do you have any summer plans? How about saving the world?

A little too ambitious, you say? Perhaps. But gosh would that look good on a college resumé. Good news: you can freshen up your world-saving abilities through film tutorials. While you probably won’t be able to save the world yourself, you can watch superheros do just that from the comfort of your nutella-covered crime scene of a living room.

And for those who agree that more is more, one movie just isn’t enough. BUCKY up for a movie marathon extravaganza featuring all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, ranked here for your convenience.

  1. “The Incredible Hulk”

Too much science, not enough Chris Evans.

  1. “Iron Man 2”

Not as good as the first; not as epic as the last.

  1. “Thor: The Dark World”

Too much of the same Thor stuff with little plot progression. But Thor is still pretty cool, so there’s that.

  1. “Thor”

Who doesn’t like Chris Hemsworth as the son of the Norse god in Asgard?

  1. “Iron Man 3”

Robert Downey, Jr. spares no stops in this epic conclusion to the Iron Man trilogy.

  1. “Avengers: Age of Ultron”

We meet the Scarlet Witch and the evil technological terror Ultron, neither of whom give the Avengers an easy ride.

  1. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”

What’s better than reuniting with an old friend after decades frozen in ice? Trying to kill each other!

  1. “Iron Man”

Tony Stark has the three critical s’s: sass, smoulder, and super cool suits.

  1. “Captain America: The First Avenger”

The ultimate guide for how to get that summer beach bod with minimal effort, except being injected by some weird mutant formula that makes you super hot and buff. I’ll take two.

  1. “The Avengers”

YESSS! All of them in one place<3.

  1. “Ant Man”

Though Ant Man is little, he is fierce. Lame suit but awesome plot, and best fight scene on a miniature train set I’ve ever witnessed.

  1. “Guardians of the Galaxy”

An epic space action movie complete with a killer soundtrack, a talking tree (Pocahontas?) and so many relatable puns.

  1. “Captain America: Civil War”

THIS IS THE GREATEST FILM OF ALL TIME. There’s wonderful shots of Captain America’s biceps, cool motorcycle flip montages courtesy of Bucky, and great moral and ethical debates about friendship and duty. It’s so much more than just another superhero movie: it’s about love, loss, and the lengths people will go for revenge.
