    • Sam DiMaio brings strong tennis skills and great recognition to the tennis program. She plays tennis year round in various state, national and even international tournaments. She has also competed in a professional qualifying tournament. Ins school competitions, DiMaio has been to the state finals in singles and the quarterfinals in doubles. She prefers singles because she likes the pressure and the physical and mental test of playing alone. Although the team has experienced a bit of a coaching carousel this year, they have adapted well and will continue to play strong.

    • Parker Jochum is a vital member of this year’s boys’ varsity weightlifting team. Every day at practice, Jochum and the rest of the team look to build their muscle while creating a relaxed atmosphere in practice. Jochum improves his bench press and clear and jerk records consistently, currently 250 and 175 pounds, respectively. He enjoys building his arm muscle because he can actually see the results. He uses this training to help him in the pool when he swims in the fall. Parker thinks the excellent team chemistry will help the boys achieve great success.

    About the Contributor
    Emma Meeks, Photo Editor
Emma Meeks is starting her second year on the photography staff of the Trinity Voice.  After the "legacy" left by her older brother a couple years earlier, Emma had big shoes to fill: being published at least once a semester.  If she's not snapping shots at school events, Emma is usually braiding her fellow photographer Kendra's hair or taking naps with her cat.  Her motto is a quote from the inspirational Byron Lawson: "If you see me around campus taking your picture, and you don't want your picture taken...tough! It's my homework."
