As the end of the day approaches, students gaze at the clocks awaiting for the bell to ring and students quickly pack up their backpacks. Once the bell rings, students dash out of class wanting to talk to friends about their day. After a long and tiring day, students at Trinity desire for a quick break before they start studying or working on arduous homework.
Close to Trinity Prep, there are multiple locations where students can hang out for a bit and quickly head back to sport practices or to their house. Although Starbucks, Panera and Planet Smoothie are some of the typical locations that students hang out after school, Ice and Bites and Torino’s Pizza are places that are up to par with these well known places.
Ice and Bites is a boba tea place located on University Boulevard about seven minutes from Trinity. The atmosphere is very friendly and the service is very quick. Personally, my favorite drink is the blended lychee-mango with boba. The drink is made right on the spot, and it is refreshing to have a sweet and delicious drink after a school day. Also, there are multiple special teas that are unique particularly to Ice and Bites. They can be customized to your liking, and can include special jellies, boba, or sugar cubes.
Another place located three minutes away from Trinity is Torino’s Pizza, next to the Publix on Aloma. It is a traditional Italian place that served New York styled pizza with a plethora of other food. Torino’s Pizza serves food that is not only delicious but also food that is comforting. The cheese pizza is warm with a perfect ratio of cheese to sauce. The favors meld in your mouth with every bite. It is the perfect destination to hang out with friends because it is not only relaxing but a great place to talk with friends and grab a quick bite.
