Have you ever wondered where all of the pamphlets, Alumni magazines, the Trinity website, advertising for the school and invitations for events come from? Or maybe you thought they just appeared, but that is far from the case.
Anything that is published and leaves the school first goes through Mrs. Marti Polaski, the Publications and Auction Coordinator.
Polaski was also responsible for the design of the Trinity website.
After 20 years of designing publications for Trinity, Polaski plans to retire at the end of this school year.
Mrs. Polaski started out her career at Trinity in 1994 as the administrative assistant in the development office.
After working beyond her scope there for about seven years, the school created her current position for her.
“It’s a great thing. Sometimes this is the only look people get at the school, and I wanted that great impression to be made,” Polaski said in reference to her work.
When asked what she has enjoyed most about Trinity, without hesitation, she replied, “The people.”
“It’s just a great place to be,” she said. “The administration and faculty are amazing, and the kids are wonderful. When you take a walk across campus you’re just totally refreshed with the energy and congeniality,” Polaski commented.
Although she is retiring, she will always be a part of the great Trinity family.
Both of Polaski’s sons attended Trinity. Her older son, Miles, graduated from Trinity, and her younger son graduated from Oviedo High School.
Miles Polaski, class of ‘98, was honored this past month by being inducted into the Patrons of the Arts Hall of Fame.
Her work here over the past 20 years has been outstanding, and Mrs. Polaski will definitely be missed!
