With a 3-2 record, the Saints win their third game of the season against Harvest Community Warriors having a final score of 26-13.

“Honest opinions, it was a little rough,” assistant coach Cole said. “It was a little ugly throughout the game, but the hard fought ones are something we haven’t come away with here at Trinity, so it was good to come away with a win.”

Two games ago against the Windermere Prep Lakers, the Saints held a similar lead of 14-0, but unfortunately gave the opponents an opportunity to come back and eventually win the game. This time, the coaching staff as well as the players came prepared to consolidate their early lead.

“I think this one we battled the whole game,” Cole said. “I think (with) Windermere, we let them back in, we let up for a second, and this one we battled the whole time.”

The last time the Saints football team has won two games in a season was back in 2020. Now, the Saints have won three games and possess a winning record. This victory was a jolt of energy and hope for all members of the team.

“I’m excited, I’m pumped for the future,” senior and football player Stanley Ritterbusch said. “Back-to-back wins for the first time in who know how long. I’m pumped.”

The Trinity Prep Saints win 26-13. This marks a record season for Trinity, and hopefully a positive sign for their future games to come. Their record now stands at 3-2.

Harvest freshman cornerback Diaje Betts, who had an interception earlier in the game, was injured with around 2:30 left in the game.

Saints will take over at their 49-yard line with 3:35 left in the 3rd quarter.

Saint’s #50 Carson Wicker walks off the field with a strong limp, indicating either a leg cramp or some form of joint injury. This is just one of many injuries the Saints have faced tonight. #15 Carson Bates, earlier in the match, faced an ankle injury and has been receiving treatment since.

After Harvest scores their second touchdown, they miss the extra point. After the scare of a potential tie game, the Saints maintain their lead at 14-13.

The Saints, with a current 2-2 record, are leading the current game against Harvest Community Warriors after the second quarter. After halftime conclude, the team will be looking to secure there third win of the season — a feat that has not been accomplished for a Trinity Prep football team in over six years.

Saints lead 14-0 with 4:22 left in the 2nd Quarter. Two weeks ago, the Saints were up two scores against Windermere Prep and lost 27-26 in the final moments. The Saints must make sure to remain focused and not get overconfident.

At 2:00 remaining in the second quarter, Harvest Community Warriors offensive line led a 60-yard play getting them to the 10 yard line. The Saints need to make sure to keep up on the defensive to prevent another close loss.

Now, after a touchdown with 15 seconds remaining on the clock before halftime, Harvest Community scores a touchdown. They narrow the game to a score of 14-7.

After a big punt from the Saints, the Warriors muff the punt and are lucky to recover the ball. The Warriors take over on their 22-yard line.

Saints defensive player Carson Bates was injured on the field after a pass attempt by Harvest Community. 8:43 left in the second quarter.

Defensive pass interference penalty called on the Saints, resulting in a fifteen-yard penalty putting the Harvest Community Warriors on the Saints’ 37-yard line.

Ari Weiss scored a touchdown for the Saints in a great 20-yard play. This is Ari’s second touchdown of the season as the football team now has a commanding lead of 14-0 against Harvest Community Warriors.

After two turnovers, the Saints once again have the ball after a kick that puts them roughly 30 yards away from the endzone.

The Saints still lead 7-0.

Along with the rest of the Saint’s defensive line, #50 Carson Wicker have been playing strong at the start of this game, as he just accomplished an 8-yard sack that led to a turnover.

The Saints will once again have the ball after their strong first play.
