Trinity is recognized for being the #1 Stem school in the Orlando area, raising ethical, resilient leaders, but most of all, creating the tight knit Trinity family. But what makes such a harmonious society of brilliant, innovative members? Well, what many people don’t know is that there are six ingredients to this recipe of success: the Six Qualities of a Saint (SQS). is code of law serves as the foundation of its constituents, each clause a true wisdom of life. With a vigor that Hammurabi’s Code of Law could only dream of, the people of Trinity have fully embraced every aspect of these six virtues: Generosity, Integrity, Cooperation, Growth, Respect and Inspiration. The dedication is above and beyond; after all, Trinity boasts on its website that “Trinity Prep Saints are a different breed.” The SQS reaches the most obscure corners on campus from the concession stand to bathroom stalls — a true testament to their magnanimity. the perfectly preserved indestructible plastic lm serve as an ever-present guide to the pathway of light for those
who are lost in the sea.
“I was struggling immensely with the stress of hypothermia in Stuart, long smoothie lines and rolly-backpacks,” junior Charlotte Lightman said. “But after spending an intimate moment in the upper school closet with the SQS poster, I found my inner peace.”
As we all seek to become more enlightened in the saintly way, here are top moments of Saintly Behavior:
GENEROSITY: Upon nding her inner light and peace, Lightman welcomed generosity into her heart and solved world hunger along the way. Needing to atone for forgetting the advisory breakfast, Lightman brought 10 dozen donuts for the Wehr advisory of 12. But her pursuit of generosity did not stop there; the sky was the limit.
“The moment I saw the hungry faces of those who also were robbed of breakfast, I knew I had to do more,” Lightman said. “We need every member of the Saints fed, so that we can continue to supply accolades given to Trinity!” Lightman proceeded to buy every Donut King store in the world to supply breakfast, lunch and dinner for all the Saints. Although Trinity became the #1 cause of the rising numbers in diabetes and obesity, Lightman’s actions were highly commended for keeping these awards and accomplishments coming as well as actually giving a purpose to the nurse.
RESPECT: Demonstrating brilliant Saint-like conduct, the 1962 Valedictorian Frank Enstein paid homage to the SQS, dedicating his entire graduation speech to it.
“I would like to solely thank the Six Qualities of a Saint for all my achievements. I could not have gotten this far — going to Harvard, becoming student body president and discovering the secret recipe of Grille Brownies — without its tender words and omnipotent presence,” Enstein said. “When I think of Trinity, I will always come back to these six words.”
COOPERATION: Our Trinity family have completely welcomed our famous line — “with your help we can succeed!” After all, what families do best is share. e sign you see every morning driving in of the half filled fleur-de-li money graph serves not as a cry for help but a celebration of our collaborative e orts. Donating money is the bare minimum; they have dedicated much more.
“I wanted to be a true Saint,” senior and culture fest president Aksel Williams said. “So, I enlisted the help of every family involved in Culture Fest along with donating all my life savings to the school. Even though our contributions only moved the tick mark up one millionth of a centimeter, I felt fulfilled.”Williams proceeded to drop out of college (no, he hasn’t even started yet) and put his future major of material engineering to use in creating new cement walls for science building. Engineer by day, Williams and the rest of the Culture Fest families became the nighttime security in the gallant effort of safeguarding our precious walls.
Saints, I hope you drew inspiration from these insightful examples; after all, these people sainted so well that they almost ascended to heaven. While I only intentionally covered respect, generosity and cooperation, the other words are for you to internalize and materialize (in case you had forgotten, which I know you haven’t because we are saints, the rest are: Integrity, Growth and Inspiration). Stay true to the Trinity family and may the Six Qualities of a Saint ever be with you.
