Parker Jochum is a vital member of this year’s boys’ varsity weightlifting team. Every day at practice, Jochum and the rest of the team look to build their muscle while creating a relaxed atmosphere in practice. Jochum improves his bench press and clear and jerk records consistently, currently 250 and 175 pounds, respectively. He enjoys building his arm muscle because he can actually see the results. He uses this training to help him in the pool when he swims in the fall. Parker thinks the excellent team chemistry will help the boys achieve great success.
