“Psych”

This quirky crime show centered around two best friends, Sean and Gus, will be sure to keep you laughing for hours on end.  Follow the comical adventure of Sean, the pretend psychic, and Gus, his sensitive best friend, as they help the Santa Barbara Police Department solve some of its toughest cases.  The quirky personalities of all the characters and Sean’s comebacks are what really make this show one to watch.

“Gossip Girl”

If you’re looking for a teen drama with lots of twists and surprises, then look no further.  But don’t be fooled, these high schoolers’ lives are anything but normal.  As you watch, you’ll be sucked into the scandal that the children of Manhattan’s elite face on a daily face.  This show is narrated by an anonymous blogger, Gossip Girl, who posts the high schoolers’ secrets online, the blogger’s identity is not revealed until the last season and it is quite a shock.

“How I Met Your Mother”

If you have lots of time on your hands this summer, then “How I Met Your Mother” is the show for you.  This comedy about five friends living in New York has nine seasons available on Netflix.  The show is told in a series of flashbacks as Ted, the desperate protagonist, tells his kids how he met their mother.  You may wonder how it could possibly take nine seasons to do this, but Ted makes sure to include every detail, including what color umbrella he uses when meeting his kids’ mother.
