Large crowds at Electric Daisy Carnival

If you missed your chance to go to the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) in 2012, don’t worry; you still have time to buy tickets. EDC is an electronic music festival that has been hosted all over the globe in cities including Tokyo, Los Angeles, Chicago and Las Vegas. With 55 performers in only two days, we are expecting to see world famous artists like Bassnectar, DJ Snake, Tiesto and Calvin Harris. Even if you’re not into the electronic music scene, you can come for the food trucks, art and carnival rides.

While there, make sure you make the trip to Tinker Field on Nov. 6 and 7 to not miss out on seeing your favorite DJs.

Acts We’re Looking Forward To:

Calvin Harris: One-man show Calvin Harris will be returning to Orlando for his second time since 2011. No doubt about it, Harris will be the highlight of the festival with top hits like “How Deep is Your Love,” “Blame” and “Summer.”

Kaskade: Kaskade has been stuck in the trenches of electronic music for more than a decade releasing his first album in 2001. Even though he isn’t as young as the other DJs, Kaskade is still one of the top DJ’s today. Central Floridians should be very excited for Kaskade to drop his hit tracks “Atmosphere,” “I Remember” and “Turn it Down.”

Alison Wonderland: How many female DJs can you think of off the top of your head? Not many, but Australian DJ Alison Wonderland is on the rise. Wonderland released her first album in 2014 and since then, she’s performed at Coachella Music Festival and has been praised by many famous DJs from Annie Mac to Diplo.
Tiësto: Many of us know Tiësto from his hit track “Wasted,” but do we know anymore of his songs? Not only has Tiësto performed all over the world, but he’s been nominated for Grammy Awards and opened the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. Everyone should come down to get an earful of his hot tracks “Chemicals” and “Secrets.”
