The Saints’ volleyball team faced off against LHPS in their district tournament.

This season saw the Trinity Prep volleyball team go 14-11, highlighted by Katie Lowe surpassing the school’s career assists. Five seniors spearheaded the Saints’ push to an overall solid season, boasting wins over Orangewood and Florida State University High School.

To cap off their season, the Saints faced off against Lake Highland, their biggest rival, in the Class 4A District 7 tournament.

The Saints found themselves up early, winning the first game 25-22, bolstered by a great performance from senior Katie Lowe, who throughout the game added 35 assists to her already record-holding count.

LHPS struck back however, behind the play of Tristin Kott, who tallied 15 kills and 18 digs for the now 10-16 Highlanders. Lake Highland won the next three games 25-16, 25-22, and 25-20 to finish the match and the Saints’ season.

The leadership of Katie Lowe, Alice Beneke, Julia Malone, Torie Silberbusch and Molly Antoon will be sorely missed during the 2015 season.  Coach Jeff Wilson, along with key sophomores Leah Green and Hannah Walker and freshman Cori Gray, will hope to build on this year’s success.
